Surreal Project
During the surreal project I had a hard time with working with my idea. My original idea was to have a tree be smaller than a blade of grass, but I wasn't happy with how it was looking so I changed it. I looked through some of my old photos I happened to come upon one of my "Fooling Around" pictures (Fooling Around pictures are pictures I take for fun). It was a picture of the street in front of my home. I decided to use that picture for the road and the cars. I wanted to show the viewer a regular road leading towards the blades of grass. I ended with this, because I love the background of the grass and leaves and how the road goes straight to it

Aaron Siskind
I was inspired by Aaron Siskind to produce my photos. My inspiration came from the textures in his photos and the colors of his photos. I decided to take the photos because of the textures that came from the subjects in the photos. I kept the original color in the second color, but I decided to turn the first photo black and white because Siskind's photos are dark colors. I am really proud of the photos I produced because I believe I kept Siskind's style in the photos.

Light Post
Exposure:1/1000; f/7.1; ISO 1250
The hardest part of this assignment according to light was capturing the image in correct lighting. The most interesting part of this assignment was finding different locations and seeing how light affects the image in the picture. I believe the image that was most successful was the first one, because of the colors that show in the picture and how the light affects the image.

TH Posting
Information: ISO 200; f/5.6; Exposure- 1/25
I chose this as my best TH picture because you can see the subject in the picture very clearly.
Information: ISO 250; f/18; Exposure- 1/500
I chose this as my best TH picture because you can see the subject in the picture very clearly.
Information: ISO 250; f/18; Exposure- 1/500
This picture was my worst because the picture is almost completely dark and a person may not even know what the subjects are doing. What I can do to improve this photo is lowering the ISO and the aperture to increase the light.

Polar Opposites
For this assignment I chose to do dead and fake. In the picture there are dead flowers and fake sunflowers. The reason why I choose these opposites is because I wanted to showcase opposites that people normally don't think of. Fake is opposite to dead because when something is dead it was alive, but when something is fake it was never truly real. Fake flowers were never even alive while dead ones had the chance to live and did but has ended its life, unfortunately. I chose flowers as my subject because flowers is great representation of life. Flowers show life through every stage; birth, beginning stages of life, then death. I believe I have executed my concept very well, because I show the flowers (dead and fake) with a white spacer in the middle. But if the spacer wasn't there the flowers could be a whole one.
Texture 101 part 2
By Trend Hunter
I choose this picture, because I love how clear and crisp the image is. The audience can clearly see the lines, the hair, and the wrinkles in the skin. This is a texture-perfect picture because the viewer can feel the elephant and can see the minuscule lines in the elephant.

Folded Laundry
This is my take on Folded Laundry. The exact opposite of folded laundry.
This is what I thought of when I heard "folded laundry."

What Color Am I?
The reason I chose the color "Gold" and the image of a sunflower because gold is my favorite color and the sunflower was the best source for the color. In the picture you see the color yellow (but it's gold) and green from the leaves. Gold is my favorite color, because gold shines because it's sparkly and is a very classy color. I believe I have a very sparkly personality and I am very classy, but also very sassy. ;)

Composition Photos
Horizontal or Vertical
Center of Interest
(Exp. 1/1000, f/10, ISO 2000, Manual)
I believe this photo has strong composition, because the subject is the only image you clearly see in the photo. The colors are crisp and clear in the photo. The viewer will automatically direct their eyes to the American Flag.
(Exp. 1/1000, f/10, ISO 2000, Manual)
This photo has strong composition, because of the leaves in front of the photo and in the background the American Flag. I really like how the leaves are not the main attention, but the flag in the background. I believe the picture will capture the viewer's eyes, because of the difference of colors and shapes in the picture.
(Exp. 1/1000, f/10, ISO 200, Manual)
I believe this picture has strong composition, because the main subject is not dead set in the center. The American Flag is off to the side. This photo will capture the viewer's eyes because this photo is not boring and has multiple things going on.
